I have always struggled with really thin, limp hair and very brittle fingernails, and come to that time of the month I have a massive tendency to sport a big one on my chin and on my forehead (Ok, so that’s nothing to people that really struggle with their skin I know, but they are sore and huge and take forever to go away and unwanted nonetheless) None of this however compares to the unpleasantness that is sore and stiff joints related to early onset Rheumatoid Arthritis.

That all changed considerably when I started supplementing my body with some very important oils. I first started using Omega 3’s about 2 years ago only.  Yes can you believe it? My own diet has always been very rich in Omega’s because I eat mostly seafood and a lot of vegetables but it just wasn’t enough.  Eating this way helped yes but my body really did need the extra help from good supplements.

I had been using a different brand up until that point but after using these for a while, I doubt that I will change back to the other brand.   1. Such a great read! I haven’t taken any supplements due to the exact reason you stated. After taste. Do you perhaps know of benefits of omega 3 during pregnancy? It should be a good thing right.

    1. Wonderful, yes the aftertaste is usually really off-putting. Omega’s during pregnancy are a very very good idea. Supplements made from the body of fish is usually called Omega 3’s are very safe and great for you and your growing baby. I would steer kleer of those supplements made from the liver of fish, such as Cod Liver Oil.
